About Jrock Fanlistings This "project" first officially started on February 21, 2008 but I first got the idea to make this January 05, 2008. I worked slowly on the site throughout several weeks, trying to delay time because I wasn't sure if I was going to get my new domain or not, and if I got it I wanted JRL to go on my new domain. But alas, here we are a month later and no new domain, JRL officially opened March 28, 2008. And why would I want to make a whole site only for Jrock fanlistings you ask? I've been a huge Jrock fan for 2 years now and I've been doing fanlisting stuff for 2 years as well and I've recently been getting irritated at TFL.org because they've become so big meaning it's becoming harder for them to keep track of everything which is completely understandable (I don't dislike or hate TFL.org lol). But I thought "wouldn't it be nice if Jrock could have it's own separate fanlisting site?" just like how anime has it's own fanlisting site. And thus JRL was born!Facts and Questions What is a fanlisting?A fanlisting is a place where fans of the same subject get together to create a listing of fans. Why can't my fanlisting be approved by both JRL and TFL.org? I decided no fanlisting will be allowed to be approved by both JRL and TFL.org. I'm sorry if you don't like it but I think it would be nice for JRL to be completely on it's own and it gives others a chance to try and get a fanlisting for their favorite band again!
