Rules for Application I. You are not allowed to apply for a fanlisting that has already been approved. All approved fanlisting are in the approved section. Nor are you allowed to apply for any fanlistings under the troubles II. You must have some HTML/graphic experience. There are tutorials here that will help you with your fanlisting, but you have to be able to make graphics and code layouts, I can't do everything for you. III. If you've made a fanlisting approved by TFL.org already you may NOT apply to have it approved here too. No fanlisting will be allowed to be approved by both JRL and TFL.org IV. The staff have every right to decline your application for whatever reason(s). V. This is a JROCK LISTING don't apply for Jpop! Ones that are obvious such as Utada Hikaru, KAT-TUN or Kanjani8 are not allowed to be applied for. But ones that cross genres such as Gackt, BACK-ON and Olivia Lufkin may be applied for. If you're not 100% sure about genre just apply and I will decide. VI. When applying for anything always give info on the subject such as an official home page or a wiki/theppn entry. Even an image (if it's a band/musician) would be better than nothing. VII. I will only allow 5 upcoming fanlistings at once. But you can own as many as suits your fancy. VIII. Fill out the form properly: Don't give us any redirect URLs. I don't care if your URL is a foot long, don't enter a redirecting URL! No noob names like jr0(k9RL. A valid email and website is required. IX. Please remember there is not a 100% chance that you will get the fanlisting. If others have applied for the same subject it's up to the staff on who gets it judging mainly by who's a bigger fan. And for this reason, I will not accept fanlistings right away I will wait about a week until I approved a fanlisting. X. If you are going to apply for say 3 fanlistings then you will fill out the form 3 times! Only ONE fanlisting application per form!Rules for Maintaining and Creating I. You must update the fanlisting at least once every 2 months. II. The fanlisting must be viewable to everyone. It would be best if you said which browsers/resolution it looks best in on the main page. Must also be in english. III. You must allow everyone to join! No "secret passwords" or not allowing people of a certain country/race to join. If caught doing this, you WILL be deleted. IV. You must link back to JRL! V. DO NOT call your fanlisting "the official" unless you actually have permission from the copyrighted owners to call it the official fanlisting, it's illegal. Which I highly doubt you'll get an "official" fanlisting unless it's a really indies band and you live in Japan. VI. Name, email and country are required for the joining forms in your fanlisting. You may however add extra things but they CANNOT be required, such as "favorite member of the band?". VII. You have 4 months to finish your fanlisting from when you are approved. If you need an extension let the staff know. VIII. You must have a "last updated" date on your fanlisting. Such as: Last Updated January 03, 2008 IX. Love your fanlisting! You applied for it, so it must mean you love the subject yes? If it's for a song add the lyrics, or if it's for a band add their profile info. Get creative with it~ X. Keep your fanlisting information updated with JRL! If you've moved your fanlisting or are going on hiatus please let us know. |
